Under the directives of the Chairperson of the Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, a special donation ceremony was held today (23 June 2025) at Air Force Headquarters. During the event, a 1000-liter water tank was handed over to the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura, Air Commodore Buddhika Piyasiri. The donation aims to enhance access to clean and safe drinking water for personnel serving at the station.

The water tank was donated to the Seva Vanitha Unit by the Japan-Sri Lanka Friendship Association.
