The Sri Lanka Air Force Netball team emmerged winners in the “Net champ’s Netball Championship” on 10th July 2011 which was organized by the ‘Net Sport Club’ Kurunegala for the very first time.

This Championship was held on the 09th , 10th  July 2011 at the Maligapitiya Grounds Kurunegala. Eight leading teams participated in this tournament and the SLAF team which won all its matches in the first round met the Army team in the finals.

The SLAF team secured the championship  comprehensively scoring  45 points  to 29 and the following air women alked off  with special trophies in recognition of the talent they displayed in the championship.
