Firefighters from the SLAF Station Palavi, in collaboration with the District Disaster Management Coordinating Unit, the Palavi Municipal Council Fire Brigade, SLNS Thambapanni of the Northwestern Naval Command, and the Sri Lanka Army’s 58th Infantry Division, conducted a joint operation to contain a fire at a garbage dump in the Puttalam area yesterday (05 July 2025).
