AIR SCOUTS OF THE SRI LANKA AIR FORCE SHINE AT GALLE COROBOREE 2025
Demonstrating pride, discipline and teamwork, a contingent of Air Scouts from the Sri Lanka Air Force took part in the Galle Coroboree 2025, organized by the Galle District Scout Association. The event was held from 09 to 14 July 2025 at G/Hapugala Maha Vidyalaya.
The contingent comprised 38 Air Scouts from SLAF Station Koggala and nine from SLAF Trade Training School Ekala, led by six dedicated Air Scout Leaders under the leadership of Group Captain Paminda Jayawardena.
The SLAF Air Scouts showcased outstanding performance and discipline, earning awards for ‘Best Entrance Gateway’ and ‘Best Campsite’ among numerous schools and institutions in the district.
Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Koggala, Group Captain Priyadarshana Hettiarachchi and other SLAF officers visited the Coroboree to show their support and appreciation for the participants.
