In celebration of the 52nd Anniversary of SLAF Station Morawewa, an All-Night Pirith Chanting Ceremony was held yesterday (29 July 2025). This solemn spiritual observance was conducted in remembrance of SLAF personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation. Prayers and blessings were also invoked for the repose of their souls, as well as for the well-being of all currently serving members of the Sri Lanka Air Force.

This morning (30 July 2025), an almsgiving was offered to the Venerable Maha Sangha at the Station. The event was graced by the presence of the Station Commanding Officer, Group Captain Prabath Alexander, and was attended by all officers, other ranks and members of the civil staff of SLAF Station Morawewa.
