SLAF STATION IRANAMADU CELEBRATES 14TH ANNIVERSARY
SLAF Station Iranamadu celebrated its 14th anniversary today (03 August 2025) with a series of events held under the patronage of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain Jayaratne Amarasinghe.
Customary working parade was held during which the Commanding Officer addressed the officers, airmen and civilian staff. The Commanding Officer congratulated the 28 personnel who got promoted on 01 August 2025, commending their dedication and professionalism in advancing the mission of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
To mark the occasion, SLAF Station Iranamadu organized several community service initiatives, including a blood donation campaign held at the station premises, a cleaning programme at the Vocational Training Centre in Pallai, renovation work at Alagapuri Primary School and Buddhist and Hindu religious observances. The anniversary celebrations also featured a friendly cricket tournament among all ranks and concluded with a celebratory all-ranks lunch.
