The Boxing Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) organized Men's and Women's "Intermediate Boxing Championship-2025" which was held from 18 August 2025 to 21 August 2025 at the Royal MAS Boxing Arena, Colombo 07. The SLAF Boxing team participated and excelled flying colours by winning six Gold, four Silver and two Bronze medals at this Championship. The leading Boxing teams of the country including SL Army, SL Navy, Police and several other Boxing Clubs were competed for the title. This title is a prerequisite to be eligible for upcoming National Boxing tournaments such as Layton Cup, Clifford Cup and National Boxing Championships.
