The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama, conducted the AOCs Inspection of SLAF Base Anuradhapura recently.

A parade commanded by Base Commander, SLAF Base Anuradhapura, Air Commodore PDKT Jayasinghe welcomed the Commander to the Base premises whilst Wing Commander HU Wijeweera, Wing Commander MASK Maheepala and Squadron leader ADR Liyanaarachchi commanded the three flights respectively.

Further, an officer, 04 airmen and 01 civilian received commendation to the meritorious work they had done whilst 2 airmen who had qualified in their course of training received Engineering Wings from the Commander of the Air Force. Finally an all ranks tea party was held at No 06 Squadron hangar to mark the occasion.
