AIR FORCE FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE ENHANCES COMMUNITY FIRE SAFETY
The Sri Lanka Air Force Fire and Rescue Service conducted a Fire Awareness Training Programme for the residents of Oval View Residencies today (30 August 2025).
The programme was organized under the guidance of the Acting Director General of Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal Dammika Dias, with the aim of enhancing community awareness on fire safety and preparedness.
Residents were educated on key fire prevention measures, safe evacuation procedures and the correct use of fire extinguishers. In addition, practical demonstrations were conducted, providing participants with valuable hands-on experience in effectively responding to fire emergencies.
