A Fire Awareness Training Programme for the Security Officers of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon was held on 30 and 31 August 2025 at the Fire School and Fire Training Management School (FS&FTMS), SLAF Base Katunayake.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Acting Director General Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal Dammika Dias, and was supervised by the Commanding Officer FS&FTMS, Group Captain Chamil Hettiarachchi.

The training aimed to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of security officers in fire prevention, firefighting techniques, safe evacuation procedures, and first response during emergencies. The sessions comprised both theoretical discussions and practical demonstrations conducted by the experienced instructors of FS&FTMS.
