Three Y12 aircraft were provided to the members of the No. 65 National Defence College (NDC) Course from India, who are currently in Sri Lanka as part of their Strategic Neighbourhood Study Tour.

The aircraft transported the delegation from SLAF Base Ratmalana to SLAF Academy, China Bay, enabling their official visit to Trincomalee today (03 September 2025). Upon arrival at SLAF Academy China Bay, the delegation was warmly welcomed by the Commandant SLAF Academy China Bay, Air Commodore Amal Perera.
