The Change of Command at the SLAF Agro Unit, SLAF Base Katunayake, was held today (08 September 2025).

The traditional Handing Over/Taking Over Parade took place at the Agro Unit, where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain HBD Samaratunga MSc (Flori. & Land Arch.), BSc (Agri.), handed over command to Group Captain PS Jayathilaka BVSc, MPhil, PG Dip (Def Mgt) (Vet).

Group Captain HBD Samaratunga has proceeded on leave prior to his retirement.
