The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama conducted the Annual Inspection of SLAF Station Palavi on 22nd July 2011.

At SLAF station Palavi Commanding Officer Wing Commander Keerthi Wannigama received the Commander on his arrival to the Station and a Street Line was conferred by Squadron Leader WAEE Samaranayake.

After completing the inspection the Commander attended the all ranks lunch held at the airmen mess. He also addressed all personnel of the station encouraging them to carry out the good work and congratulated all for preparing the station for AOC’s inspection to the high standard it was in.

The following personnel were commended by the Commander for exceptionally meritorious execution of duties during the past year.
