CHIEF OF THE NAVAL STAFF OF INDIA CALLS ON THE COMMANDER OF THE AIR FORCE
Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) of the Indian Navy, Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, today (22 September 2025) at Air Force Headquarters.
Upon arrival, Admiral Tripathi was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura, Air Commodore Buddika Piyasiri and was accorded a Guard of Honour presented by the SLAF Colour Wing.
During the visit, the Chief of the Naval Staff also met with the Deputy Chief of Staff and Members of the Air Force Board of Management. The cordial discussions between the two Commanders focused on areas of mutual interest, including joint training, technical knowledge exchange and the enhancement of maritime surveillance operations.
