Marking the significance of World Children’s Day, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, made a special visit yesterday (01 October 2025) to the newly renovated Children’s Play Area at SLAF Guwanpura and the Officers’ Married Quarters at Kollupitiya.

During the visit, the Chairperson also joined the little ones of the SLAF Guwanpura Preschool, sharing in the celebrations and bringing joy to the children on this special day.The renovation project was successfully carried out by SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura, ensuring a safe and vibrant environment for children to play and enjoy.

On this occasion, the Chairperson extended her appreciation to the dedicated technical staff and project team whose efforts contributed to the successful completion of the initiative.
