The Change of Command at Air Defence Command and Control Centre at SLAF Station Mirigama was held today (12 October 2025). The traditional Handing over/Taking over parade was conducted at the Station premises, where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain ECA Jayasundara USP, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), Pg Dip (Def Mgt) MIM (SL), AMITD (SL), psc handed over the Command to Group Captain NP Udagedara MSc (Def & Strat Stu), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), psc.

The new Commanding Officer, Group Captain NP Udagedara held the appointment of Staff Officer Air Defence I at Directorate of Air Operations, Air Force Headquarters before being the appointment of Command of Air Defence Command and Control Centre. The outgoing Commanding Officer, will be assuming the Command of SLAF Station Piduruthalagala.
