SLAF CLINCHES CLIFFORD CUP WOMEN’S BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP 2025
The Clifford Cup Boxing Championship – 2025 was held from 15 to 19 October 2025 at the Royal MAS Arena, Royal College, Colombo 07, featuring 92 male and 42 female boxers from across the country. All bouts were conducted in accordance with World Boxing regulations.
The Sri Lanka Air Force Boxing Team delivered an exceptional performance throughout the championship, securing an impressive six Gold medals, five Silver medals and three Bronze medals. Demonstrating remarkable skill, discipline and determination, the Air Force Women’s Team emerged as the Champions of the Clifford Cup Women’s Category, bringing honour and pride to the Sri Lanka Air Force.
The Clifford Cup Women’s Championship Trophy was presented to the triumphant Sri Lanka Air Force Women’s Team by the Chief Guest, Acting Director General of Sports, Mr. V Chandrakumar, during the closing ceremony.
