INTER UNIT GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP – 2025

The 8th Inter Unit Golf Tournament of the Sri Lanka Air Force concluded successfully at the Eagles’ Catalina Golf Course, Koggala, from 06 to 07 November 2025.

The Awards Ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Director General Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal Dammika Dias and attended by the Director General Welfare, Air Vice Marshal Rajinth Jayawardena. The occasion was also attended by the Chairman of SLAF Golf, Air Commodore Erandika Gunawardana, along with several Senior Officers and participants of the tournament.

The competition was conducted over two rounds of nine holes on the course, following the Stableford Scoring System. A total of 70 players, including five lady golfers, took part in the event.

Following an exciting series of rounds, the SLAF Academy China Bay secured the Overall Championship with a total of 71 points, while SLAF Base Ratmalana emerged as the Runners-up.

In addition to the Inter Unit Championship, an Open Championship was held concurrently, featuring a special Over-45 Years Category, providing an opportunity for senior golfers to display their skills. The tournament concluded on a high note with the Awards Ceremony held on 07 November 2025.
