SLAF ASSISTS IN EXTINGUISHING FIRE AT SINGER SHOWROOM IN VAVUNIYA
The SLAF extended prompt assistance in responding to a fire that broke out at the Singer Showroom in Vavuniya yesterday (25 November 2025).
Upon receiving information about the incident, a team of SLAF personnel from SLAF Base Vavuniya was immediately dispatched to the scene. Working in coordination with the Vavuniya Fire Brigade, Police, and other emergency responders, the SLAF team supported efforts to bring the fire under control and helped prevent the spread of flames to nearby structures.
The swift and coordinated response by all agencies played a key role in minimizing further damage.
