In a generous gesture of support for ongoing humanitarian relief efforts, Stafford Motor Company (Pvt) Ltd donated bedsheets, pillowcases and towels to the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) today (11 December 2025). The contribution will assist the relief drive providing essential maternity items to mothers of newborn babies and pregnant mothers in areas affected by Cyclone Ditwah.

The symbolic handover of the consignment was made by Executive Director of Stafford Motor Company, Mr. Tarindra Kaluperuma to the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe. The ceremony was attended by the Director Media of the SLAF, Group Captain Eranda Geeganage, Secretary of the Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Lilangi Randeni and staff of the SVU. Representatives from Stafford Motor Company, including General Manager and President of the Welfare Society, Mr. Damitha Jayasundara, Deputy General Manager of Auto Service, Mr. Upul Perera, Manager of Spare Parts, Mr. Pulathisi Sooriyabandara, Deputy General Manager of Motorcycle Service, Mr. Sampath Wasalamudali and Manager of Operations, Mr. Nishantha Iddamalgoda were also present to witness the handover.

The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit expressed sincere gratitude to Stafford Motor Company for their timely support, which will bring comfort and assistance to mothers and newborns in the affected regions.
