AIR SCOUT TROOP COLOMBO CONDUCTS FLOOD RELIEF INITIATIVE FOR CYCLONE DITWAH-AFFECTED FAMILIES

The Air Scout Troop, Colombo, organized a flood-relief initiative by collecting ration packs to support families affected by Cyclone Ditwah. The donated items were formally handed over to the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura, Air Commodore Buddika Piyasiri, by the Air Scout Chairman, Group Captain Paminda Jayewardene, at the Air Scout Headquarters, SLAF Guwanpura, today (13 December 2025), for onward distribution to the affected families.

The event was attended by Air Commodore Sujeewa Ponnapperuma, Group Captain Krishantha Perera, other SLAF personnel and Senior and Junior Air Scouts.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
