UNITED MOTORS LANKA PLC DONATES ESSENTIAL MEDICINES TO SRI LANKA AIR FORCE

United Motors Lanka PLC donated a consignment of essential medicines to the Sri Lanka Air Force today (16 December 2025) at Air Force Headquarters, in support of ongoing humanitarian relief efforts.

The donation consisted of 13 types of medicines, valued at approximately Rs. 1.24 million. These medicines are required for the long-term management of non-communicable diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidaemia, hypothyroidism and cardiac-related conditions.

The donated medicines will be utilised to support the Sri Lanka Air Force’s medical and humanitarian assistance programmes currently being conducted for communities affected by recent floods and landslides in several parts of the country.

The symbolic handover of the consignment was carried out by representatives of United Motors Lanka PLC and was officially received by Director General Health Services, Air Vice Marshal (Dr.) Lalith Jayaweera, on behalf of the Sri Lanka Air Force.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
