The fall out parade of No. 174 Regular Airmen, No. 44 Regular Airwomen, No. 42 Direct Entry Airmen and Airwomen, No. 18 Volunteer Airwomen Recruit Courses was held at the SLAF Combat Training School, Diyatalawa today (24 December 2025). The parade was commanded by the Acting Officer Commanding Training, Wing Commander Prebath Senevirathne.

The Director General Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal Dammika Dias graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Commanding Officer of the SLAF Combat Training School, Group Captain Lalith Sugathadasa, invitees, all Officers and Other Ranks of the school attended for the occasion.

A total of 489 Airmen and Airwomen were fall out after completion of the strenuous training schedule. The Director General Air Operations addressed the trainees during the parade and congratulated them on their successful completion of the Basic Combat Training. The Chief Guest further emphasized the importance of becoming a member of the Sri Lanka Air Force and the significance of rendering their service to the nation at this crucial juncture of the motherland.
