The Equipment Provisioning and Accounting Unit (EP&AU), SLAF Base Katunayake, celebrated its 15th Anniversary today (01 January 2026) under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain ARG Rodrigo.

The unit was established on 01 January 2011 as an independent formation under the command of Wing Commander KR Eramudugolla. Since its establishment, 20 Commanding Officers have commanded the unit to date.

In line with the 15th Anniversary, a customary Working Parade was conducted today (01 January 2026) at the unit parade ground and was reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain ARG Rodrigo. This was followed by an address to the officers, other ranks, and civil staff. Following the parade, a Bana programme was conducted at the unit premises.
