The annual All-Night Pirith Chanting Ceremony, held in honour of Sri Lanka Air Force personnel who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation and to invoke blessings for their souls and all serving members of the SLAF, took place yesterday (02 January 2026) at SLAF Station Palavi.

Following the ceremony, an almsgiving for 12 Venerable Maha Sangha was conducted today (03 January 2026) at the station premises. The Commanding Officer, Air Commodore Nishantha Priyadarshana, along with all service personnel, participated in both ceremonies.
