The Sri Lanka National Weightlifting Championship 2025, organized by the Sri Lanka Weightlifting Federation, was held at the Torrington Indoor Stadium from 17 to 18 January 2026.

The Sri Lanka Air Force Women’s Weightlifting Team secured the ‘Overall Women’s Championship Title’, recording a successful performance at the national-level competition. The championship brought together leading weightlifters from across the country and provided a competitive platform to exhibit technical skill, discipline and performance.

The event was conducted under the supervision of the Sri Lanka Weightlifting Federation in accordance with established competition standards. The SLAF Women’s Team maintained consistent performances throughout the championship to achieve the overall title. The SLAF Men’s Weightlifting Team also recorded noteworthy results, finishing as ‘Runners-Up’ in the overall standings.

The awards ceremony was held at the same venue with the participation of the President and other officials of the Sri Lanka Weightlifting Federation, Chairman SLAF Weightlifting Group Captain Sanoj Jayaratne and distinguished guests at the Torrington Indoor Stadium Colombo.
