NO. 02 SUPPLY AND MAINTENANCE DEPOT CELEBRATES 29TH ANNIVERSARY
No. 02 Supply and Maintenance Depot proudly celebrated its 29th Formation Day yesterday (01 February 2026), marking nearly three decades of dedicated service to the Sri Lanka Air Force. The celebrations commenced with the customary Working Parade, which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain LS Jayaweera.
The celebrations were further enriched with a community service project conducted in the Minneriya Devala area. Religious observances were also held to invoke blessings for continued success and prosperity. A Kiri Ahara Poojawa was conducted at the sacred Somawathiya Raja Maha Viharaya with the participation of the Commanding Officer and personnel of the Depot.
The day’s celebrations concluded with a volleyball session, promoting camaraderie, teamwork and morale among the officers and airmen of No. 02 Supply and Maintenance Depot.
