The No.3 Air Defence Radar Squadron (ADRS) at SLAF Station Weerawila celebrated its 19th anniversary on 01 February 2026. Further, the customary working parade was held at the squadron premises and was reviewed by the Commanding Officer of No.03 ADRS, Wing Commander WDEH Walpita.

In line with the anniversary celebration and ‘Clean Sri Lanka' project, the Weerawila Tank cleaning programme was successfully carried out on 29 January 2026. In addition a Shramadana campaign was organized at Abhayapura Suranimala 

Primary School Weerawila on 30 January 2026. During this initiative, the entire washroom facility of the school was renovated for the benefit of the students with the dedicated efforts of squadron personnel and under the support of SLAF Station Weerawila personnel. The anniversary day programme concluded with a friendly cricket tournament among all personnel at the Station ground.
