The First leg of the 27th Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya ended at Puttalam today (27 February 2026) having covered a distance of 127.5 km. UAE Cyclist, Mohommad Alharbi won the 1st leg of the race while De Silva LSC and Fernando MNN both from SLAF finished as second and third places respectively.

The second leg of the race will begin tomorrow (28 February 2026) at 0830hrs from Puttalam. The second leg will cover a distance of 141.8km and will complete at Dambulla.
