The second stage of the 27th Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya concluded today (28 February 2026), in Dambulla after a route spanning 141.8km. Sozinov Vladislav, representing Russia, emerged victorious in this leg of the race.  Dinusha Saranga from SL Army secured the second position, followed by Mohommad Alharbi of the UAE MOD in third place.

Tomorrow, (01 March 2026), the third and final stage of the race will commence at 08:30 a.m. from Dambulla. This leg will cover a distance of 134.3km, concluding at Defence Headquarters Akuregoda. The Women's race will also start tomorrow from Meerigama and will be finished at Defence Headquarters Akuregoda covering a distance approximately 81.9 km.
