COMMANDER’S INSPECTION AT SLAF STATION PALALY
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, commenced the Annual Commander’s Inspection at SLAF Station Palaly today (27 March 2026).
The Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palaly, Group Captain Suranga Seneviratne, welcomed the Commander upon his arrival and a street line with standard colours was conferred.
During the course of inspection the Commander visited all areas of the Station and joined a cross-section of officers, airmen, airwomen and civilian staff at the Airmen's Mess during customary All-Ranks Lunch.
The Commander concluded the inspection by addressing all ranks and civilian employees, expressing profound gratitude for their contributions to the Station's high standards and emphasized energy conservation strategies to mitigate the effects of the energy crisis and stressed the need to contribute their best to the Air Force and the motherland.
