The fall out parade of No. 174-C Regular Airmen, No. 44-C Regular Airwomen, No. 42-C Direct Entry Airmen and Airwomen, No. 18-C Volunteer Airwomen Recruit Courses was held at the SLAF Combat Training School, Diyatalawa yesterday (12 May 2026). The parade was commanded by the Officer Commanding Training, Group Captain Wasantha Lakshman.

The Director General Planning, Air Vice Marshal Deshapriya Silva graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Commanding Officer of the SLAF Combat Training School, Group Captain Lalith Sugathadasa, along with invitees, all Officers and Other Ranks of the school attended for the occasion.

A total of 607 Airmen and Airwomen were fall out after completion of the strenuous training schedule. The Director General Planning addressed the trainees during the parade and congratulated them on their successful completion of the Basic Combat Training. The Chief Guest further emphasized the honour and responsibility of becoming a member of the SLAF, highlighting the significance of rendering committed service to the motherland at this crucial juncture.
