The No. 02 Information Technology Wing (No. 02 ITW) at SLAF Trade Training School Ekala celebrated its 7th anniversary yesterday (17 May 2026) with a series of events organized to commemorate the occasion. The celebrations commenced with the customary working parade, which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain KDC Krishantha, in the presence of officers, other ranks and civilian staff of the Wing.

In line with the anniversary celebrations, several events and community service initiatives were also organized. A community service project was conducted at Sri Valukaramaya Temple, Ekala, followed by a Bana programme with the participation of Wing personnel. In addition, a friendly cricket match was organized among the members of the Wing to mark the occasion.
