VISITING INDIAN AIR CHIEF PAID FLORAL TRIBUTE TO IPKF WARRIORS

The visiting Chief of the Air Staff of Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh paid a floral tribute to the warriors of Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) who made the supreme sacrifice during their tenure in Sri Lanka. 

The ceremony was held at the IPKF memorial, Battaramulla today (19 May 2026). This event was attended by other IAF visiting dignitaries, Base Commander SLAF Base , Air Vice Marshal Dinesh Jayaweera and Senior Officers from the SLAF.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
