SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT HOSTS VESAK DANSALA AT RIFLE GREEN GROUNDS
The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit hosted a ‘Seeni Sambol Bun and Ginger Plain Tea Dansala’ at the Rifle Green Grounds, today (29 May 2026) as part of the Vesak celebrations. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, with the assistance of Air Force Headquarters and SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura.
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, and the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, graced the occasion and joined in serving refreshments to devotees and visitors who attended the Vesak festivities.
Organized in keeping with the spirit of Vesak, the Dansala provided Seeni Sambol Buns and Ginger Plain Tea to a large gathering of devotees and members of the public. The event was attended by the Senior Members of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Members of the Air Force Board of Management, officers, other ranks and their family members, whose participation contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.
