SLAF signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a leading motor vehicle company in Sri Lanka, KIA Motors (Lanka) Limited yesterday (24 June 2026) at the Air Force Headquarters with the intension of providing luxury vehicles for the SLAF personnel at concessionary rates.

The Managing Director of KIA Motors, Mr. Andrew M Perera signed the MoU on behalf of the KIA Motors (Lanka) Limited while Director General Welfare, Air Vice Marshal Rajinth Jayawardena endorsed the MoU on behalf of the SLAF.
 
The representatives of Legal Division, Staff Officers at Directorate of Welfare, attended the occasion representing the SLAF and General Manager - Finance, Ms. Nirmala Hapuarachchy,  General Manager- Spare Parts, Mr. Saliya Semasinghe, Manager- Workshop, Mr. Damith N. Wijesinghe attended the occasion representing KIA Motors (Lanka) Limited.
