ALL-NIGHT PIRITH CHANTING CEREMONY AT SLAF STATION WEERAWILA
In line with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force and the 48th Anniversary of SLAF Station Weerawila, an all-night Pirith Chanting Ceremony was conducted at the Station premises on 01 July 2026.
The meritorious religious event was attended by all officers, other ranks and civilian staff of the Station, reflecting their collective participation in this significant occasion.
The ceremony was held to invoke blessings upon the nation, the Sri Lanka Air Force and all serving personnel, while also transferring merits to the heroic airmen who made the supreme sacrifice in service to the country.
