Group Captain TME Mutaliph RSP and Bar, USP, MSc (MOA) USA, Pg Dip(Def Mgt), Pg Dip (IR), psc, qfi handed over the command of No. 8 Tactical Transport Squadron at SLAF Base Ratmalana to Wing Commander SR Wijayagunasekara today (03 August 2026). The Handing Over / Taking Over Parade was held at the Squadron premises with the participation of Squadron personnel.

Group Captain Mutaliph, who successfully commanded the Squadron during his tenure, will assume duties as the Commanding Officer of No. 1 Flying Training Wing at the SLAF Academy, China Bay.
