The Chairperson of Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) Mrs. Neelika Abeywickrama handed over a newly built houseat the auspicious time of 1018 am today (02nd September 2011) to the wife and the child of Late Flight Lieutenant Induravi Muthukumarana.

The Ranaviru Welfare Fund of the SLAF contributed  1.3 million rupees towards the project whilst the Directorate of Welfare and the Seva Vanitha Unit together make sure the construction was carried out properly at No. 202B 2/1, Dikhenawatta, Kudamaduwa road, Maththegoda, Kottawa.

The Officer lost his life in an air accident on 1st March 2007 during a training session with a PT 6 aircraft at SLAF Base Anuradhapura.
