TRAINING OF TRAINERS SESSION ON “CLEAN SRI LANKA” INITIATIVE CONDUCTED AT SLAF
A full day Training of Trainers (ToT) session on institutionalising the national initiative “A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka” was conducted at the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters, Sri Jayawardenepura, on 04th September 2026.
The programme was conducted with the objective of enhancing the knowledge and capacity of selected SLAF personnel to effectively promote and institutionalise the principles of the national initiative within the organization.
The session focused on fostering a culture of integrity, ethical conduct, accountability and responsible public service.
Mr Dulip Somirathna, Senior Assistant Secretary to the President and Director (Ethics), Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat, together with Mr DKAM Kumarasingha - Management Services Officer and Mr SACR Samarathunga- Management Services Officer, served as resource personnel for the session. The resource personnel provided valuable insights into the objectives, principles and practical implementation of the initiative, while engaging participants through interactive discussions and activities.
Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Padman De Costa, Integrity Officer of the SLAF Internal Affairs Unit, Air Commodore Uditha Piyasena, members of the SLAF Internal Affairs Unit, along with Officers and Other Rankers representing all SLAF establishments, participated in this programme.
The session marked another significant step in the SLAF’s continued commitment towards strengthening integrity, accountability and ethical standards, while contributing to the successful implementation of the national “Clean Sri Lanka” initiative.
