A delegation from the Australian Defence College visited Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Headquarters today 09 September 2026. The delegation comprised of 12 officers and was headed by Colonel Adam Geoffrey McGuinness, a senior representative of the Australian Defence College.

The senior members of the delegation paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe. During the meeting, cordial discussions were held on matters of mutual interest. The occasion concluded with the exchange of official plaques to commemorate the visit.

Subsequently, a knowledge-sharing session and an interactive question-and-answer session were conducted with the participation of the Australian Defence College delegation, members of the Air Force Board of Management, and Senior Staff Officers representing various SLAF Directorates.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen professional engagement and foster the exchange of knowledge, experiences and perspectives between the Sri Lanka Air Force and the Australian Defence College.
