SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT CONDUCTS A HOUSE WARMING CEREMONY
A house constructed under the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to the family of Sergeant Danasena HMRP (Cons. Tech) yesterday (21 September 2026) and the housewarming ceremony was held at Karawila Road - Badalkumbura. The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The project was fully funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, while construction was carried out by the Civil Engineering Wing of SLAF Base Katunayake. The initiative was implemented under the guidance of the Director General Constructions Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Pradeep Hewapathirana and supervised by the Commanding Officer of SLAF CTS DLA Air Cmdr Lalith Sugathadasa
The event was attended by the Director Ranaviru Welfare Gp Capt Dayan Sumanaseka, Commanding Officer SLAF CTS DLA Air Cdre Lalith Sugathadasa and his spouse Mrs. Inoka Rathnayake, Secretary of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Lilangi Randeni along with members of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit,Command Master Warrant Officer MWCS Kumara and Most Senior Airwomen Sgt Bandara RMKGNJ, officers and other ranks of SLAF CTS DLA.
