Teacher's Day Celebration at Ekala

In respect of celebrating World Teachers Day, all the instructors of Sri Lanka Air Force Trade Training School (TTS) were felicitated by all the trainees on 6th October 2011.
Instructors were traditionally welcomed by offering beetle leaves as a token of respect and the event included a key note address by a trainee, three felicitation songs, a recital of a poem composed by a trainee, a rendition of song on a flute and a mini drama.
The Commanding Officer of TTS Group Captain Laksiri Gunawardena graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. During his address he expressed his gratitude to all trainees for setting an example for the whole Air Force. While appreciating the performances of the trainees he emphasized that increasing growth of a positive attitude amongst the younger generation at TTS is a sign of the early achievement of the dream of TTS.
