Sri Lanka Air Force Men’s and Women’s Karate teams became the National Champions 2011 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on 30th October 2011.

The tournament was organized by the Sri Lanka Karate Do Federation where one hundred and eighty six associations took part displaying the country’s best. Air Force Karatekas participated in all events under Black and Brown belt categories as well as for the team events.

The men and women of the SLAF displayed their talent and won both the Men’s and Women’s Championships bagging 21 Gold medals, 16 Silver medals and 31 Bronze medals to become the best men’s and the best women’s team in Sri Lanka.
