SLAF Station Ampara Celebrates its 22nd Anniversary

Sri Lanka Air Force Station Ampara celebrated its 22nd Anniversary on 25th November 2011.
In view of the formation day a Shramadana campaign was conducted at “Sarana” Lama Niwasaya, Uhana on 23rd November 2011, in the morning with the participation of all ranks which was followed by a lunch for the children.
On 24th November 2011, a blood donation campaign was organized at the Station Medical Center with the assistance of the Blood bank of the Ampara Hospital in a successful manner.
On 25th November 2011, the Commanding Officer addressed all the Officers, Airmen and Civilians in the morning and Sports events were conducted subsequently with the participation of all ranks and civilians. Later in the afternoon, an all ranks lunch was also organized at Airmen mess.
