Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China bay won the men’s Championship while the SLAF Base Katunayake won the women’s segment at the finals of the Inter Unit Volleyball Championship 2011 held on 02 December 2011 at SLAF Base Katunayake.

Mr. Lalith Pium Perera, the Chairman and Director General of the National Youth Services Council of Sri Lanka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Volleyball AVM RJ Pathirage, Base Cmr SLAF Base Katunayaka, Air Cdre CR Gurusinghe, and host of other distinguished invitees attended the final session of the event.
