Annual Concert of SLAF Preschool China bay

An extravagant exhibition of talents on stage, marked the year end concert of the Sri Lanka Air Force preschool, China Bay on 2 Dec 2011.
An ever eager and enthusiastic group of 93 children from the SLAF preschool, China Bay illuminated the event whilst displaying no stage fright at all. A cascade of events including songs, dances, and speeches and nursery rhymes with multi cultural themes and multi ethnic exposure brought about more colour to the event.
The chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs.Neelika Abeywickrama graced the occasion as the chief guest and a Saraswathi pooja dance was offered to the deity of Art, Music and Dance as a prelude to the show. The Acting Commandant of SLAF Academy, China Bay, Gp Capt Prasanna Ranasinghe, several representatives from the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, the officer in charge of the preschool Sqn Ldr TM Abeynayake, well wishers and parents witnessed the concert.
