The Inter Unit Judo Finals 2011 was successfully held at SLAF Fire Unit Colombo on 9 Dec 2011. The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Mr PG Chandrasena Secretary of Sri Lanka Judo Federation. SLAF Anuradhapura became Champions of the Tournament whilst SLAF TTS Ekala became runners up.

Over 200 Judo players competing under 12 Men’s & 02 Women’s weight categories represented all SLAF establishments for this event. The Champs of the event managed to score 35 points whilst the runners up SLAF TTS Ekala earned 34 points in the competition.

Director Welfare Air Vise Marshal WA Silva, Commanding Officer SLAF Colombo and Command Sport Officer Air Commodore NHV Gunarathna, Base Commander of SLAF Base Anuradhapura Air Commodore Ravi Jayassinghe were the other distinguished guests witnessed the event.
