The children’s party followed by the Unit Annual Get Together of SLAF Batticaloa was held on 11 December 2011 with the participation of Children and other Family members of Service personnel and Civilian Staff.

The Commanding Officer of SLAF Batticaloa, Wg Cdr WMAB Wewegama graced the event as the Chief Guest.

The evening was filled with fun and celebrations and provided a platform for Families of both service personnel and civilians to meet  each other to enhance friendship. Further the evening was filled with some spectacular activities for the participants both young and old, with  a variety of Dance, Fancy Dress competition, colorful fireworks and more games.

The children’s party drew to a close with the much anticipated arrival of Santa Clause who distributed presents to the children adding color to the evening.

The Annual Get Together was started at 1900 hrs and the musical accompaniment by the SLAF Beat Group together with the SLAF Dance Troupe made the evening a memorable one.
