A Welfare Shop for personnel at SLAF Station Palaly was declared open on 21st January 2012 by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palaly  Group Captain KKAK Kaluarachchi.   

 Under this concept shops have been established throughout the SLAF and are centrally supplied by the Central Welfare shop established at SLAF Base  Rathmalana. The Welfare shop provides all essentials at extremely low cost.
